Fill Up The Silence

Project 2012-01-20 00:00:36 +1300

This PledgeMe project will raise funds towards mixing costs and production for the upcoming album from musician Tama Waipara. The album showcases a hot new sound combining epic retro pop with vibrant rhythmic drive and Tama’s electrifying and rich vocals. With influences from all around the Pacific and more than a taste of the NZ spirit, this album speaks with worldwide confidence and was recorded at Brooklyn’s Bunker Studio in Williamsburg, New York.

Produced by Aaron Nevezie who worked with The Black Keys on their single, “Tighten Up” from their Grammy Award Winning album, “Brothers”. The album features the likes of Grammy nominated Emily King, collaborations with drummer Dave Mason and has all the raw depth of New Zealand through a gritty Brooklyn filter.

The money raised will pay for five days of mixing and two days of production.
