Get Runaways To AFI Fest

A little about us and this project....

Hello! I'm Alix (an independent film producer form NZ), I've spent the last few years working on a short film called Runaways (http://www.facebook.com/RunawaysShortFilm) with a director named Jordan Dodson. The film is about an old couple who learn to love each other again thanks to an act of extreme violence - brought on by two young runaways who arrive mysteriously on their farm.

Runaways has been invited to play in the official selection of this years AFI Fest (http://www.afi.com/afifest/) in LA - this is a pretty big deal for our little film. Speilberg's Lincoln and Anthony Hopkin's Hitchcock are having their world premiers at the same festival!

What we need your help with...

We would like your help to create DCP (Digital Cinema Package) for the film. A DCP is a high resolution digital negative that cinemas use for project films with beautiful images and surround sound! What's more - we'll be able to hold a cast and crew screening for the film before it goes to Hollywood - so that the 50+ people who gave their time and skill to realize this film can see it before the Americans!
