My proposal for a sculpture 'Light & Day' has been accepted to be made & installed in the Kaipara coast sculpture gardens. My concept is to have one of my paintings printed onto clear perspex and made into a sculpture to be installed. So far I have managed to get a sample printed and am ready to get it made & then installed. The exhibition will be for one year at the Kaipara coast sculpture gardens site. I am excited about having my concept realised on a larger scale as it will be in human scale and will encourage more interaction with the public. It makes sense for it to be installed in the Kaipara area as my relationship with the area extends from having lived there for several years, having taught visual arts there and studies for my current works originated there.

I have applied for funding and sponsorship and am waiting to hear back. Meantime the installation date is looming & I need to get it started. Any help would be most appreciated. I can perhaps offer in return some funds towards a ticket to the exhibition? Or I can bake you something? Or I can give you a painting?
