Kids Having Fun While Learning

Kids are our future and for many of them a good start is not a part of it.  I want to start a home based care business from my home where I can look after preschoolers .    I have a passion for supporting, caring  and teaching preschoolers and take great delght in seeming them develop, mature and gain confidence in themselves.  When they are happy and secure they can do anything.   With many years of experience as a nanny, foster parent, early childhood teacher,primary teacher, Children's Pastor,  Sunday School Teacher, Step Mum and a dedicated Aunty I have many plans and ideas that I want to implement.  I have a Graduate Diploma in ECE Teaching and a Diploma in Child Protection, so i am well equipped to provide children with stablity and security.

I have been accepted by Nurtured at Home, a wonderful Agency with good ERO reports.  They will give me educational opportunities for the children, check up on a regular basis to see how they are doing and provide outings for the children where we can meet up with other kids.   I have the support of my wonderful husband who also enjoys spending time and mentoring young children. Kids love him and he has been a father figure to boys without a father.

I have got a house now that is suitably fenced, warm and safe. But I need more toys, especially a sandpit, swing set, climbing frame, playhouse, water and sandplay equipment for outside (and a gardening shed to store it in), music instruments, play kitchen for family play, accessories for dolls such as a bassinet, highchair and pram.  there are other bits and pieces to.  I would also like a blackboard or white board for teaching times and parent notices.
