The Basics 

We are a passionate team of young filmmakers ready to make our mark on the world, starting with our short film Violet. We've done all the hard work in pre-production and have received some really great feedback so far. So the next step is to actually make it! 

Violet

Violet is a thriller short film that follows a vivacious young woman and her level-headed partner as they uncover the malevolent spirit of a young girl that lurks in the storage room of the house they rent. Think Don’t Breathe meets Let the Right One In.

What we need

We have already secured our crew (all working voluntarily), all of the gear we need (our sponsors are a godsend) and our location but we need your help to fund the last few elements to make it all come together. The funding breakdown is as follows:

$60 for pledgme fees

$100 for set design (costumes, props, makeup etc.)

$200 to transport the crew, cast and gear to our shooting location outside of Auckland

$300 to feed our cast and crew 

Our Team 

This short film will be directed by Bala Murali Shingade and produced by Nacoya Anderson and Andrew Kennedy. We have worked together for the past 2 years on various projects including the mockumentary comedy series Insecurity and horror micro short The Cannibal.
