Taking over the world isn't cheap. Especially when we're doing it one Nigel at a time. Help us spread the vibe and share the love.

Who are we you might ask?

Ifinity stands for If In It why? We started out back in the day in Invercargill so we could get the music and the voice out for students and local musicians. Nigel was our first beloved transmitter that we started with in 2011. We play all genres on our stations anything from Rock to Metal and Dub to Reggae. We pride ourselves that we play music from local unknown NZ artists. Kiwi music is our thing.

About 4 years ago we partnerned up with a record label  called The Peoples Coalition. With the goal to expand more stations throughout NZ, our founder Greg Selman hit the road running and spent 3 years travelling NZ promoting Ifinity FM. Since then we have launched 4 new stations, taking us to 5 fledging stations across the country. About a year ago we purchased a new transmitter for Invercargill and named him Nathan.  We brought Nigel (transmitter) up to Wainuiomata in the North Island. We even built him a brand new studio made out of mainly recycled materials.  When we plugged Nigel in he started to make some weird and wonderful noises and sadly we discovered he had blown up.

With no money in the coffers and for all these years working on a shoestring budget we need your help to get a new Nigel so Wainuiomata residents can listen and tune in to all the local music from across the country.

 This was Nigel.........This was Nigel

Ifinity FM and The People's Coalition are in the trenches fighting for unknown NZ recording artists. We play them on air, record them in our studios for free, and travel from the the Cape to the Bluff promoting the artists and selling the occassional CD.

These are The Cds........The Music We Promote

We are raising funds to replace Nigel, our Wellington radio transmitter (we name all our transmitters and treat them like real living people) Nigel was a faithful transmitter and we are missing him very much. Without Nigels help, we are unable to transmit and showcase the great local talent from the Cape to the Bluff that New Zealand music has to offer.

At the same time we have alot of people wanting a Nigel (transmitter) in their own town so we can broadcast there as well.  With your pledge we will be able to buy more transmitters at the same time.

Help us get local people and musicians a voice!!

How will you pledge help and how much do we need?

Every donation makes a difference. $700 buys one new Nigel(transmitter) and antenna. $20,000 buys us 50 Nigels(transmitters). The more you pledge, the more transmitters we can buy. The more transmitters we have, the further nz music can be heard and thats greater exposure for underground local kiwi artists.

Our goals

Its our goal  to have 50 radio stations coast to coast as well as 50 free recording studios across the country. We are 5 fledging stations (4 on air because Nigel Passed away)  and are tackling the media giants head on. The money you pledge will be used to buy more transmitters to work towards our goal.

The short term goal is to get a new transmitter for our Wainuiomata station (Wellington) which will cost $700 dollars.

The long term goal is have 50 radio stations broadcasting local music and each station will have a free recording studio.

Help us help local music by pledging to our campaign.

*Please note we may rename Nigel and call the new Nigel, Neil*
