Help Us Relaunch OurPlanet.org and Merge It With GreenplanetFM.com

Kia Ora & Greetings,

We wish to re-launch and rebirth our presence in Aotearoa New Zealand as a web-based global player in the emerging paradigm of ‘conscious’ change.

Owning the potent domain names, OurPlanet.org and GreenPlanetFM.com - we wish to merge both of these into a single platform to pull the strings of local and global community together.

With a radio presence in NZ’s largest city Auckland and a growing network of change agents, our aim is to put NZ back on the global stage as a moral compass for good and a force for fair play and cooperation.  Yet, we are global change agents as well and that at heart we wish to bring unity consciousness forward.

• 36 years after the publication of the holistic, educational, ecological, spiritual magazine Paradise Rising, that tied in all the various cosmologies and philosophies into a more unified whole.
• 26 years after the ‘Handbook and Manual for Crew of Spaceship Earth’ that our planet is not only a spaceship, but a ‘super organism’ as in the Gaia Hypothesis, and that of a - mothership. (Mother Earth)
• 20 years after the initial web site www.ourplanet.org which embraced a whole planet wide view, reminded us that as crew of Spaceship Earth we need to take action and care of the ‘mothership’ - our planet - ‘from her, all things have issued.’
• 13 years since GreenplanetFM went to air broadcasting from the top of Auckland’s skytower, based on the premise of: Environment, Health and Consciousness plus sustainability and renewal.
• 8 years since www.GreenplanetFM.com started archiving the radio show as podcasts on the web and iTunes

Building on the last 36 years, it is envisaged a super website of a co-creative & co-operative enterprise based on goodwill be established here in Nuclear Free Aotearoa - New Zealand. The aim, to educate, empower and inspire people, to be a dynamic change agent shaping the leading edge of the new paradigm, both locally and globally.

This being a holistic, ecological, metaphysical, peace oriented platform based on health, justice, a new economic order and a sustainable future for all biota.

Where members can share ideas, post blogs, find out what’s on, learn about the news behind the news, engage in positive initiatives, strategic thinking, goodwill in action and become inspired with team spirit.

Wishing to crowdfund. Have a small kitty at present, but having funded all the above out of our own pocket, we want to apply for crowdfunding.

Paradise Rising created waves in 1980 as a NZ based holistic, ecological, metaphysical and educational magazine.  We've spent many hours retyping and digitising the whole magazine and updating it. This e-book comprises around 220 pages, with added links and turned it into an ebook.

Because, in NZ there are so few if any radio programs dedicated to ‘conscious’ change based on a holistic vision and especially, that our planet is a super living organism.  This translates to our planet loaning us bodies as well as free fresh oxygen, free pure water and up until recently a free organic food chain.

Currently you can listen to GreenplanetFM 104.6 if you are in Auckland on Thursday mornings between 8-9am for a non-stop radio interview of a leading advocate and activist for positive change, broadly within the context of environment, health and consciousness. Specifically focussing on a healthy, peaceful planetary future - for all children and grandchildren.

“Ourplanet.org can be accessed to see that we live on this super organism called Mother Earth, or Papatuanuku - that is what Maori call ‘her’. Whilst Indigenous peoples globally have been saying this to European whiteman for the last 400 or so years, it has only been recently that mainstream science has, with great reluctance realised that this is true too. We all exist on a giant living being that we have become disconnected from. Hence our not realising our present day interrelationship.

“Ourplanet.org was published in 1996 and was seen as a very early art piece, using metaphor to focus on our planet as being a ‘spaceship’ and with all of us as a humananity in essence, being crew members, who have forgoten that we are aboard ship. But, today there is a huge awakening as alarm bells ring around the ship and aroused crew are called to action stations to save the crew from themselves and stopping a collapse in the natural operating systems embedded throughout the ship.

The other ingredient is that we are finding out, that our spaceship is actually a mothership, and from her all things have issued. This introduces the ancient Greek notion that our planet is a colossal living super organism that in Greece 2,500 years ago was known as Gaia. We are now realising that our bodies are composed of the air, water and minerals that constitute the elements of our planet. But more so, at a level of subatomic or quantum physics - every baby born into our realm/world is also known as an ‘energy bundle of exponential potential.’ This is resulting in an inner realisation that we can consciously transform ourselves into a potent, powerful loving human being. Yet even more, we can consciously be the evolutionary driver that chooses to shape our whole evolution and what this is saying - we are the answer that we have been looking for!

This is our point of difference that virtually no other web site on our whole planet has.

This is very different, as we acknowledge that we have a connection from this moment -  all the way back from our belly button and naval, to our mother and our grandmother, back through the family tree, down through the lineage of species, back through the sacred feminine, and the spiraling DNA until we come to a gaseous and molten metal - early stages of the forming of mother earth.

Fast forward up till today and here we all are, we are actually walking around the outside of our planet and when we jump up off the ground, are we not consciousness choosing to break away from that which we were once part of?

As of now, we are taking us all on an action packed journey into shaping our future on our planet and you are all invited.

At present, GreenplanetFM has a database of over 330 interviews of many leading global scientists, practitioners as well as academics and those with hands on knowledge. These are freely downloadable and we want to be able to make this information even more readily available.  

WHY should people want to help?

If you care about our world, our planet and want to see positive change and that the will of the people is being adhered to … yet feel that it’s difficult to get either a full understanding of the larger picture, one that is focussed on solutions and more so - engaged in positive action - ourplanet.org could be for you. 

The premise for this program is to uplift and mobilise consciousness and the human spirit.

We are a dedicated educational and learning platform that wants to assist in the realisation and our capacity to grow in both knowledge as well as recognise our feelings from an empathic standpoint and attune our intuition to align us with more truthful outcomes.  

That we need to question everything, be curious, have cause to wonder, to be unflaggingly inquisitive about life and existence and how a human lives on a planet.

You see it is our ambition to empower you as a human being, to realise that at the core of who we are, is that we are far more than we ever thought possible. If you go to the Ourplanet.org web site and read the first 3 links you will see that for us to be affective 24/7 we need to understand connection and how we are embedded in life and have always been so. Please note that the first link that Our planet has comprises 2 parts to it. The 2nd part expressing virtues and possibilties.

 
With the integration of radio into the revitalised Ourplanet.org website we are going to continue talking truth to power, to be a rallying call for young and old, to all races, creeds and all socio-economic situations to be able to visit and see that humanity has far more in common with each other than we have differences. We are going to celebrate both values and virtues and embody a code of conduct, of being mindful as well as follow the precautionary approach with new technologies and environmental systems. 

People visiting the twin sites of GreenplanetFM.com and Ourplanet.org I trust will instantly ‘feel’ that they have come home to a rock steady site, where team spirit is a part of the natural ethos of what we wish to convey.   And though starting small, will I trust reflect the potential and possibilities of conscious choices and actions and really make a difference in the world for those who visit these sites.

In the larger context there are a great many inspiring people, both here, and around our planet who are doing superb works for children, peace, the homeless, the sick, the poor, the hungry, the world. In particular bringing about'conscious governance'. Though it is an immense task, we will do our best to honour them.

We are going to be reminding ourselves of core values to do with health, education and justice, to housing, employment, transport - as well as other PC subject matter. From air quality to water and land usage to food and organics including GE & GMO's, to complimentary currencies, the challenges of indegenous peoples, ceteaceans. Alliances - be it military or trade agreements, foreign policy, participation in world bodies and in particular that of sovereignty.
The list is endless especially the gigantic overwhelmers, like climate change, acidic oceans, geo engineering, failing fisheries, deforestation and habitat loss, and all types of radiation - and it will take time to cover such a vast panorama that exists within the biosphere - that is ourplanet.org

We want to showcase NZ as a possible model or template of a high energy, synergistic, ecological country that embraces holistic principles that embeds solid values and virtues inclusive of a duty of care. What we are at heart, is a resolute advocate for today's & tomorrow's children.

Fortunately, Iceland in the North Atlantic is endeavouring to pioneer new ways of economy from banking to fishing and there are other countries that are modelling other methods of living sustainably too. Such as Bhutan which has been recently making the news, where success boils down to the gross national happiness index (GHP) instead of the gross national product and that they are aspiring to become 100% organic in food production by 2020.   

So please take time to mull over our story and if it feels good and you wish to align with it, then please, climb on board.

WHAT will the money be used for?

GreenplanetFM is a voluntary radio show and everything has been paid for by donations from people who want us to succeed or out of our own pocket.

The money will be used for specialist coding to finish the website, for graphic design including the new logos, to complete the Paradise Rising ebook, to pay for the ongoing costs of hosting the website, podcasts, the weekly radio show fee and to pull all of the strings together to make it run, including advertising.

This is one of those “how long is a piece of string” scenarios, where we don’t really know exactly what it will cost. Suffice to say that the $5,000 we are aiming for is the bare minimum of what will be required to complete the first stage.

If we manage to pass the $5,000 mark we can then start to progress on some of the other ideas we have to expand the functionality of the site with new technology.

We don’t have the time to do this ourselves, so will need to hire someone to finish the job.

We also need to get all the podcasts updated onto iTunes.

WHO on Earth are you?

My name is Tim Lynch and I was born in Matamata, (Hobbiton) NZ.  I am the host of GreenplanetFM and the owner of www.ourplanet.org, the site we are wanting to upgrade.

For the past 36 plus years I’ve dedicated my life to creating conscious, positive options with the publishing of a magazine called ‘Paradise Rising’, a booklet called ‘Handbook and Manual for Crew of Spaceship Earth’, the educational website www.OurPlanet.org as well as the radio show and podcast GreenplanetFM.com
