Let's Brew Kereru Gluten-Free Auro Beer!

Project 2016-01-03 17:17:43 +1300

Our delicious Gluten-Free Auro beer was expensive to produce and difficult to find gluten-free customers for. We'd like to produce it again, but this time we'd like to locate our customers before we brew.

Kereru Brewing Co Gluten-Free Auro Label

Our goal is to pre-sell our next batch of Auro, so get involved early and pledge towards this project!

We have 275 cartons to offer (usually priced at $64.99 - inc. GST at our online shop). For every $50 pledged, you will be allocated one box of 12 x 330ml bottles of our Gluten-Free Auro. This price is slightly below our wholesale price for the beer and represents a great value to those who get behind this. This campaign will be closed once we have allocated 275 cartons and the beer will be brewed. Supporters who pledge enough to receive 20 cartons will receive a bonus carton.

All remaining beer will be sold direct from the brewery.

You will receive your reward beer as soon as we can brew it and you can follow along on Auro's progress on our Facebook andTwitter accounts.

Delivery is included in the price of the pledge. So yes, it is freight free to North and South Island addresses in New Zealand. Waiheke, Stewart and Chattham Islands are not included in the freight free delivery area.

We have scheduled the brew date for Auro in first week of March 2016, the beer takes 4 weeks to brew, ferment, condition, filter, and package. All going to plan we would look to dispatch the beer by the end of March or first week April 2016.

You must be 18 years of age or older to pledge and, if funded, to receive your reward beer.

Auro has completed fermentation.

Auro is done fermenting. While it conditions in the tank we've dry-hopped the beer with a touch of Nelson Sauvin hops which will be adding a lovely aromatic lift to the finished beer. We'll start cold conditioning in a couple of days and be ready to filter the beer in a couple of weeks from now.

Brewdate imminent.

02/04/2016 at 4:09 PM

The replacement shipment of gluten-free ingredients have arrived in New Zealand and we are looking forward to brewing Auro very soon. Once our shipment has cleared customs and we can raise the gluten-free starter yeast we will be away! The plan is to be fermenting within the next 10 days.

Nearly there - a slight extension and a reduction in goals.

24/02/2016 at 3:54 PM

Hey there! With just under a week to go and a bit of good press in the paper, we've decided it might be best to extend our campaign by another week and also to lower our target a bit. We'll give the campaign an extra seven days to run and we have dropped our target to $10,000. This leaves a bit of risk for us, but also increases the chances that we'll get it across the line.

Please tell your friends and get them to pledge. We really need everyone who wants this to happen to pledge.

Thank you for your support.
