The New Zealand Ice Hockey League would like to stream it's Grand Final LIVE to the WORLD. Get behind us hockey fans and help us land this goal from the blue line. 


If we reach our funding target the final will be available to view LIVE, in your lounge, in your bedroom, in your bar, in your club, in your rink, on your phone and where ever you happen to be.

Act quickly, we only have a couple of days to raise the money. Spread the word, tell your friends, get behind us and we will bring the hockey to you!

Ice Blacks Documentary

In 2011 I followed the New Zealand men's ice hockey team to the world championships. Their achievement, against all the odds, was the greatest ever by a New Zealand men's ice hockey team and I got it all on film.

Since that time I have tried every funding body imaginable as well as numerous broadcasters both in New Zealand and overseas. All agree it's a great story and they would happily air it, but that it falls outside their parameters for funding.

Now after two years of trying to get it made, I turn to you. If there's enough desire out there, we will make this happen together and present the finished program to the Ice Blacks before they travel to Spain for this year's world championships in April.

I've already pumped in about four grand of my own money, hopefully, with your help, we can find the other six and show the world our story.

To all the fans out there who passed the link around, emailed it, tweeted it and put it on facebook, we thank you. Your enthusiasm was amazing.

To all those who made a donation, no matter how big or small, your support of New Zealand ice hockey has been wonderful to see and will surely ensure bigger and better projects in the future.

For now I am happy to announce that we will all be able to watch the final online! No matter where you are!

Tickets to the NZIHL Grand Final sold out in less than 90 minutes today.

If you're not one of the lucky ticket holders and want to see the final join the pledge drive!

Gosh you guys are swell.

25% in the first day is a great effort and to everyone out there spreading the word, keep up the good work. Those $5 pledges really add up!

We'll probably need to find at least one person or business who wants to donate a larger slice of the pie, so have a think about who you think would be great and flick them the link, then tell them why you think they're so great!

We're 10% of the way there!

Have had some feedback from our British brothers and sisters wanting jerseys because they can't fly down here to make use of the season tickets.. so I've sweetened the $500 deal by adding a jersey for you!

Keep in mind they're expensive articles so feel free to help us overshoot that $2000 mark or I'll be shining shoes to make this up!
