Repping Wellington At NZ Post Cup (cricket)

Raroa Intermediate school boys' team has qualified for the NZ Post Cup tournament as Wellington regional champions. The Cup tournament will be held in Christchurch this year and the school has a proud history in the competition, winning the Cup as recently as 2013 and 2010.
The Raroa team came together earlier in 2015 and is comprised of year seven and eight crickters. They bonded quickly and have played some great games against tough local opposition, including EBIS, Scots and Wellesley. The NZ Post Cup presents the boys with the opportunity represent our region on the national stage.
We would like to raise money in this way to supplement other fund raising activities (which are planned to include sausage sizzles and the like). The funds will pay for flights, accommodation and meals for the players and teachers. We are hoping to also purchase extra cricket balls for the matches and practice (the boys have been training extra hard in the lead-up). All funds raised are for the benefit of Raroa Intermediate school and not individual players, spectators or teachers.
