Help Room:Maker Build A Whare!

Help us buy materials and equipment so we can build our first sleepout to house young people and their families experiencing over-crowding in Christchurch!
Room:Maker is a Christchurch based non-profit designed to: create education opportunities for young people not in education, employment or training; build additional housing for young people so they can stay with their families as they move from school to employment, volunteering or further education; and to develop a sustainable social enterprise.
We're just getting started. We've got a new CEO, an experienced and enthusiastic trust board and a pilot programme in the pipeline. BUT we want to raise funds for our first building project, and we need some cash to help buy tools and safety equipment for the first whare. So our trustees and our CEO have decided to put their bodies on the line and enter the Motatapu - New Zealand's iconic off-road multi-sport event, set in the stunning Wanaka and Queenstown high country.
Ross and Lani will be running the marathon, Annika and Jordana will be entering the Triathalon and Josh will be running the 15km.
We're aiming to raise $3,000 to put towards our awesome mahi and the Vodafone Foundation will match funding up to $3,000 too! Let the training begin!
