As a group of BDes (hons) students, we often find ourselves overwhelmed with heavy workloads and deadlines. But beyond this comes the universal stresses of adult life - staying healthy, productive and motivated. People often find comfort in food, and we have reinvented the traditional treat of fairy bread to allow customers to live in the moment and take a breather from their heavy schedules. By incorporating aspects of 90's culture in our branding, we can give customers a chance to reminisce about the carefree nature of their childhood. And for the children who already indulge on this treat regularly, we have developed a unique experience to add customisation and fun to the process.
Taking the form of a mobile stall, our service allows customers to pick from a list of familiar favourites such as banoffee, or create a completely unique blend of flavours by following our three-step process. Firstly one can select from several flavours of home-baked bread, including a gluten-free option, before picking from a selection of spreads, and toppings.
Our goal is to expand the business and solidify a consistent space to sell our product. This would also include collaborating with a local bakery to source larger batches of bread, as well as upgrading the stall facilities and increasing the reach of our promotional material.
The purpose of your pledge:
Upgrading the stall and having it fully facilitated to serve our product efficiently.
Aiding in the associated costs of outsourcing the production of bread.
Maintaining our supply of high quality spreads and toppings.
Funding a larger scale advertising scheme to expand the business further.
