About

Fast 'fordable Future Food - Sipreme

Project 2015-09-07 20:59:44 +1200

Intro

We are all busy people, mostly with terrible food habits. We've tried to find that magical and mysterious healthy diet, failing miserably. "If only I could take a pill instead of eat..." has been a thought that crossed your mind. This is the unfortunate norm for many of us. It's time for our perceptions about healthy eating to change - yay science!

Sipreme is a complete food. It's fast, easy, tasty, and totally perfect for those not-so-perfect meal times. Mix with water, blend and go - for a much healthier breakfast and lunch "fast food".

Even better, it’s much cheaper than the ordinary weekly shopping run.

The Struggle

Preparing food takes ages. Driving to the shops, buying groceries, cooking it, cleaning up the mess... The average person spends 7 years of their life preparing and eating food. Scary thought! Healthy food shouldn't be this difficult.

Time spent on food

It's near impossible to get in all of the nutrients our bodies need from traditional food on a daily basis - unless you study this and dedicate a large part of your life to healthy cooking. Too often we opt for the easy options, which ends up costing us dearly, both financially and around our waists.

Obesity

Traditional food is expensive and resource intensive. 39% of the land area required to sustain the average Kiwi is for food production. If everyone on the world lived like this, we would need 3 planets to survive.

Ecological Impact

To make matters worse, roughly one third of the yearly food produced in the world for human consumption (approximately 1.3 billion tonnes) is lost in production, goes off, or is thrown away. This food is worth around US$1 trillion.

Food waste's yearly carbon footprint is estimated at 3.3 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere. YIKES!

To solve this challenge, we searched for a solution to food. All the existing fast, convenient options were too expensive or nutritionally incomplete. After months of research, consulting experts and getting feedback from over 100 beta testers, Sipreme is finally ready.

The current formulation is on version 36, and we will always be updating it in the search for perfection. As scientific and nutritional information improves, Sipreme will become better and more complete. Yay science!

1 bag of Sipreme contains all the energy and nutrients for the average adult's daily needs (± 2000 calories). 1 meal (serving) is 1/4 of a bag.

To prepare: add 1 pack of Sipreme to 1.5l of water in a blender, mix and voila! Your food for the day is ready.

How to make - full day

If you feel like making a single meal, add a scoop (±125g) of Sipreme to 375ml of water and blend. Pour into your travel bottle and you’re good to go!

 How to make: scoop

For a smoother experience we recommend you put your Sipreme in the fridge for 2 hours then serve chilled. If you want it immediately, add some ice and enjoy.

Pouring Sipreme

Sipreme comes in three flavours: chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. Each meal pack contains the complete daily dose of carbs, proteins, vitamins, minerals, fats and fibre that you need for optimum nutrition. You can use this as a quick breakfast, midnight snack or for the whole day. It fits with your lifestyle.

Please see our website for full Nutritional Information and Ingredients.

Sipreme is made in New Zealand from local and imported ingredients. We blend, pack and warehouse everything right here, creating jobs and boosting the economy.

So... Where's my fix?

04/11/2015 at 10:23 PM

 We are on it!

We immediately bought all the ingredients - and have just been waiting for everything to arrive.

…And chewing our fingers to the bone with anxiousness. We can't freakin wait to make the first official batch!! J

So thank you all for being patient and not knocking on our door at 3am with baseball bats. As soon as we have an idea on a more solid delivery date, we will let you know. It is loosely looking at 20ish days, if boats don't sink, asteroids don't hit, or the zombie apocalypse doesn’t interfere.

We love you guys. Thanks for supporting this!

PS - We are making a bit extra, so when the online store opens, the wait for your next fix won’t be very long.

Happy vibes, you wonderful sipreme beings xx
