My name is Ariadne Baltazar, I'm 19 and currently a second year actor at Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School.

At the end of this year, I'll be doing an internship on to my birth country the Philippines, at one of the country's top university: Ateneo de Manila. There, I'll be performing once again the 20min solo show I created at the end of my first year at Toi. Which will be quite interesting to see how it pans out, for my solo is entirely spoken in Filipino,  and I'll be putting this up to a crowd of them.

Aside from this, I will be acting as an assitant teacher at some of their Theatre Arts classes, whilst also learning alongisde the students and observe a different culture and style of learning.

After my 2/3 weeks there, I'm planning go to London to experience and see the pieces of work emerging from there, and how I can use those to inform and feed my own work as an artist.

The internship to the Philippines and to London are a great opportunity for me to keep developing and honing the valuable skills that I've been gaining these past two years, and be able to test them in a very different field; and then how I can apply those skills into areas outside of acting, such as teahing. A career path that I'm wanting to take after I graduate.

I need to raise a minimum of $2000 to cover my flight to the Philippines - but overall I'm looking at raising to raise a minimum of $6000 which will cover my flights to the Philippines and London ($4000), and my internship fee plus accommodation ($1-2000)

Internships are great educational opportunities, but they also tend to be very pricey - especially when they're overseas. But I'm determined to get there, and I  need your help and support to make this happen!

Even if it's little as $5, it will be a huge help and you can get a cool reward too! ( I personally recommend the crinkles!)
