Hey there! my name is Louis Tobin, and if you don't know me already, I am an 18-year old aspiring musician and music producer participating in the Raphael House Rodolf Steiner School Class 12 Project. This fundraiser will be to support my project, and all generous contributors will reap the rewards at the end!

The aim of the project is for applicants to spend a whole year doing the thing they are passionate about - So, here goes!

What will be the final outcome of the project?

My aim, if all goes well, is to have 2 final products - CDs, to be exact - by the end of the project:

The first will be a compilation of songs I have produced, co-produced and written throughout the year at my home studio, Sparky Productions, in Belmont. This will be a body of work that I have produced collaboratively, and only the best songs will make the cut!

The second will be my first full-length solo album, which I will be releasing under the artist name 'Sparky'. These songs will all be written, performed, produced, mixed, mastered and published by yours truly, with instrumental contributions from others here and there.

So, where will the donations go?

As you can imagine, funding a project like this can be a daunting prospect, especially for a student who earns $40 a week juggling high school with a part time job.

I will have to get CDs pressed and printed, purchase the necessary equipment and computer software, and pay my production instructor/tutor Phil Riley for his incredibly valuable time. I am looking to raise $800 to fund this, and any excess funds that there may be will be an investment into the future of Sparky Productions and the needs of the studio in the future.

Will there be rewards for donating to the project?

Absolutely - Your donations are very, VERY much appreciated, and the least I can do is give you back a piece of the final result. Here's how it will go:
