The Ecomoon Collective needs your help!
For the past 18 months we have offered the Community Room at the back of the shop as a central, friendly drop in spot for families in Nelson. This is a warm, dry, space where parents needing to stop and change, or feed their baby or child can do so on a comfy couch, with a cuppa tea!
We offer toys for the older kids to play with, as parents ourselves we have been there trying to feed a baby, with a toddler running off, and in Nelson there aren't any public parent rooms that offer this space.
We are also incredibly proud to offer this space free of charge to community groups to use to hold support meetings - Mum4Mum Breastfeeding Support and Babywearing Nelson to name a few.

Unfortunately the costs of running this room, and continuing to offer it as a drop in spot for parents is becoming unmanagable for us. Especially in these winter months with the costs of keeping the room warm!
Support small business in Nelson, with a large heart. We want to continue offering this to families in Nelson, and visitors to Nelson too! Every dollar counts!

{Prue} Most of you that know me, know it isn't often I am lost for words! Today I am humbled. I believe in the community, I believe in families, and I believe in supporting local small business. Today we received the most amazing, generous, pledge on our pledgeme fundraising page. I am so truly humbled, that someone else sees our vision, and blessed us with this! To each and every one of you that comes in store, buys online, or makes a pledge - YOU MATTER! We appreciate you, we thank you, and we hope to support our community for some time to come. Empower Birth Classes are held at The Ecomoon Collective community room.
"Your body - Your baby - Your Birth!"
Empower Birth Classes are based on the knowledge that pregnancy, labour and birth are empowering normal events in your life.
Birth is one of the most empowering journeys you will ever get to be on, and is to be greeted with excitement and joy - never fear. By advocating safe women centered childbirth methods, that your body is made to do, the aim is for you to make an informed choice for you birth - wherever that journey takes you. We have a definite focus on birth as a natural and positive event in your life.
Prue often provides these courses with referral from a Midwife for a Koha only.

I am Tara. I run the Mum4Mum Breastfeeding Support group here in Nelson. We meet monthly at the community room at Ecomoon and are available for support at any time outside of this meeting, feel free to call or email (0212772098; [email protected]).
I have two children, Cooper, 4 and Carter, 2, and have a passion for breastfeeding and natural child raising.

Are you wanting to wanting to start using homeopathy to support your families health? Do you have some remedies and would like to know more? Grace will cover for family first aid, colds, flus, and remedies for babies and infants.
