I've started recording my debut album and have run out of money before it's finished!
I need another $2500 to finish recording the 10 songs I've written.
It's folky, solo-acoustic singer-songwriter with guitar, harmonica, banjo, ukulele and strings.
My songs are about/inspired by real events while drifting across Europe; love and lack of it, travel, life.
Also inspired by some of the great prose I read while travelling, with a nod of the head in some of my songs to books/authors such as Moby Dick, Don Quixote, On the Road, Gustave Flaubert and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
I'm inspired my musicians such as Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Woody Guthrie, Charlie Parr etc...
Sentimental and perhaps sometimes a touch maudlin.
If you donate $25 or more I'll send you a free hard-copy of the album with a personal, hand-written thank you note. Donations over $100 will earn a credit in my album booklet.
