Hello!
Hi, I'm Matthew Wills. You may remember me from such places as the Drawfest stall at Armageddon Expo, or selling my own artwork at Overload, Zinefest, Supanova and various other conventions. I've been making comics and selling art forever at such events, but a lack of funds has kept me quietly out of the action lately.
I have a huge pile of older prints, badges, comics and artbooks that I want to clear out ($750 value all up), so that I can use the money to make newer, shinier prints with newer art on them. I have a few conventions I'd like to tackle this year and want to make a strong showing. To do so, I'm turning to PledgeMe and offering up the old stuff cheap as possible as rewards for helping me out. 
So What's On Offer?
First up we have Drawfest Annual, which is a book that we crowd-funded and crowd-art-filled a couple of years ago. We printed 100, everyone involved bought a copy or two; but that's still left me with about 30 that I paid for. If only PledgeMe was around back then!
They're full of great art by a ton of my favourite kiwi artists, plus I learned a ton making them... but its time for the last few to disappear!
Scuba Goth and Rocket Horse are a pair of mini-comics I made, for a pair of songs I made, with the help of Thomas Smoonlock. He did a little bit of the art too!

Commissions Too!
Every pledge will get some new art, drawn by me, included too! So if there is a little something special you'd like me to whip up for you, we can make it happen. How about a unicorn bear battling a zombie dragon? Or a gorilla with six arms playing at least 3 ukeleles? Maybe something topical, like a new New Zealand flag? You know, a good one.
So What Am I Using The Money For?
If I reach my initial goal, about a quarter of that money will be used for postage and PledgeMe's fees. The rest I'll spend on A3 prints for stuff like... this!
If I reach $850, I'll have got my print costs back (plus those fees, yo)! Any unclaimed badges, shirts and whatnot are going straight in bags and straight to the people who bought my books. Its a clear out!
After that, I'll start looking at spending some money upgrading my tools. My laptop is dying and it doesn't agree with my drawing tablet a lot of the time. Quite frankly I'll be drawing you guys an awful lot of pictures so I think I'll deserve it.

The money will all be going towards making some beautiful (?) new wares before Indigo Faire next week; but with this weekend still to go I want to assure everyone I still have plenty of stock I'd like to move, so I'm adding some stretch goals:
$300 total - I'll create a round of business cards and make sure everyone who pledged for stuff gets one. Also I'll draw everyone a little digital picture like the $5 pledge. That's certainly not an amazing goal, but we're almost there anyway!
$400 total - I'll create a round of new bookmarks and make sure everyone who pledged for stuff gets one. And you can pick the design, too.
More to come as we get closer and/or I decide what they should be!
Also, here's a little something new I'm working on!

Hi guys!
Thankyou for everyone who has pitched in, or helped promote the campaign so far!
Just wanted to confirm that I'll be at Indigo Faire (Thistle Hall, Wellington, 6pm-10pm, June 20th) selling my work shortly after the campaign ends; so if any Wellingtonians pledge me (!) they are welcome to come pick up their rewards (and a few extras) there!
I'm still working on some new bits and pieces for the event, including some promo art for the game I'm working on! Here's a peek!
