Purpose of this fundraiser

In 2009 I self-published my first game, Linwood. This was soon followed up by my first card game, Capek. Since then I've had two games picked up by Dutch publishers, White Goblin Games. Now I want to self-release my latest game, Plethora. I plan to produce just 500 copies. I have already lined up a manufacturer, and have a price quote from them. To release Plethora I really need around $6000.

Shipping of rewards

Should this funding attempt be successful, all pledgers earning rewards will be kept up-to-date on the expected release date of Plethora. This should be before the end of September. There are no additional costs for shipping. I will ship anywhere in the world... and maybe to the moon.

Game overview

Each player aims to have the most nobility points at the game’s end. To gain nobility, players will need to complete various commissions for the city’s nobles. When players reach 1 of 3 nobles they receive a rendezvous. They then journey to that location. On reaching their destination they receive a commission. This involves traveling to one or more locations to purchase gemstones.
Players will need silver to buy their pearl, amber or sapphire. After delivering the gemstones, they receive gold and silver from the supply. Gold can be sold to a noble for a nobility card. To buy a card, players pay the gold shown on the aligning ‘keep’. The game ends when only 2 nobility cards remain.
