Hi I'm Janelle Gentle. Last year I stepped out of my comfort zone & moved myself & my daughter to Wanaka for a fresh start and to pursue my ultimate dream. After planning, researching & getting the wheels in motion now is the time for me to start my #angrycoffeeshop. What is this #angrycoffeeshop I speak of?? Wait! Dont ask me all these questions at once, keep reading & all will be revealed... heck why not grab a coffee?? That liquid black that we all long for.
Who's behind the #angrycoffeeshop? My name is Janelle Gentle I hail from the deep south of Invercargill & with a long standing history in hospitality, PR & marketing a career in running my own avenue in hospitality has been a dream. I have a 7 year old daughter & starting the #angrycoffeeshop isn't just for me I want to show my daughter how hard work, dedication & dreams can happen!
What is this #angrycoffeeshop we speak of? Its a mobile coffee cart aswell as some delicious treats, the aim of the game is speed. How many times has your venti white chocolate mocha locka cappa milk been burnt because the barrista is more concerned with socializing than just doing her damn job and making you a good coffee.
When will wee see this #angrycoffeeshop? Lets just say time is money and the wheels are in motion.. the wheels of the mobile coffee cart
Where will I see this beautiful #angrycoffeeshop. I am based in Wanaka & we are wanting to get to sports games, festivals, markets, rodeos, events & anywhere we can park without getting a ticket. We want to venture as far as we possibly can to get to all you lovely, happy and sometimes angry customers
Why an #angrycoffeeshop? I've got sick of working for the man, making caramel mocha skinny decaf flat not coffees with all the trimmings for all the happy go lucky types and that's when the #angrycoffeeshop dream was born.
Why should you always have to be happy and chatty and smiling when you go for your daily fix of coffee? Why can't you be angry? Why do you have to make small talk to the person serving you? Why do you have to be nice? Why do people have to ask how your day was and expect you to answer with a lie? Why can't you be angry?!! Why can't you get just a good old fashioned normal coffee without the annoying extras and the mundane questions?!
YOU WANT TO BE ANGRY......Well go ahead.
YOU DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT YOUR DAY..................then come on over, there will be no judgement here.
YOU WANT A GOD DAMN GOOD NO FRILLS COFFEE..........you've come to the right place.
How am I intending on pledgeme to help with #angrycoffeeshop? All these amazing ideas, dreams and plans I have can't come to life without that paper with the faces on it. The mula, the money, the magic pennies. If I can reach my target it will give me the equity I need to get my licenses & certificates, buy equipment, marketing of my brand and a deposit on my coffee trailer.

Hello everyone!!
so it's less than 24 hours till the cut off it looks like we may not reach the target but I just wanted to say a great big THANKYOU to all of you.
Thankyou for believing in me and this project and for your pledging, sharing and liking to get the word out there.
We have done it, we have got "the people" talking so I CANT STOP NOW!!!
Tomorrow infact I'm off to the bank to Open up some serious savings accounts!!
Im also meeting with a local that is looking at selling their own coffee trailer NOW THATS EXCITING!
So never fear! This is not the last you will hear from me......watch this space, WE WILL MAKE THIS HAPPEN
