Batterie 100

Strike Percussion is a group of internationally recognised New Zealand Percussionists. They have started an initiative called Batterie 100. Here they travel around NZ teaching a routine to South side schools. The children learn how to drum and work together to create a performance. At the end of the year the top 100 children are selected by Strike to perform at industry standard arena. This one night only concert is a celebration of a years work with the children. The schools then get to keep the instruments they have learnt on to continue the teaching of high standard percussion. This project needs funding for the end of year performance. The venue, lights, sound, collateral, transport and special effects all need to be covered and produced.
