Our Amazing, Awesome, Fantastic, Talented, Ukelele Super Kids NEED YOUR HELP!

Do you smile when you hear a Ukelele?

Does it make you think of summer holidays on the beach?

We have been running our club for 6 months and the musical talent that we have is incredible. This is their oppurtunity to learn to play music and they are making the most of it. We have 30 kids  between the ages of 5-10 each wednesday. They choose to give up their lunchtime to play the uke. We spend 15 minutes learning new things and then we have a MASSIVE, LOUD, AWESOME 45 minute JAM!

Everyone associates the ukelele with happy times and for some of these kids its sorely needed. Many are from hard working loving families where Private music lessons are beyond their finances. Providing an instrument to these kids will allow them to practice what they have learnt, and to take their awesomeness, and their smile home.

Make no mistake, our kids are success stories waiting to happen!

We are all about smiles, giggles and playing our ukes while we have our lunch together

We currently have no budget. I give my time each week and and the school lets us use their ukeleles and hall. Unfortunately I cant make enough ukeleles for all of the kids. It would be nice to have $1000 to buy each of our kids their own ukelele ($30) and give the remainder to the school as a koha for letting us use their hall. Just to be clear, We are not planning on giving ukeleles to every kid that shows up (For instance when it rains we have nearly 100 kids). They will never be turned away but ukes will only go to the kids that have been committed to learning music for no reward and who will truly cherish their instrument

Hi Guys

Seeing as we have been nailed with such an awesome response to our project we have been re-evaluating our goals. Im setting the new target for $4000 which will help us get the project into other schools, (Im sure we're not the only one with future superstars in need of a hand) along with getting us extras like replacement strings and publishing our songbook.

Our rewards are still available plus Im going to add one of my own. The person that puts us over the $3000 will get my personal soprano ukulele (Wave). The person who puts us ove $4000 will get my flame maple electric Tenor uke.up for grabs

WE MADE IT!!!!!!

Hi guys,

thanks to some massive pledges this morning we've made it! You guys are fantastic. There's going to be smiles for miles when I tell the kids tomorrow!

Anything we make now will go towards spare ukes for new kids and if we make enough we may be able to publish our own songbook!

Have an awesome day, to match your personalities!!!
