I'm creating an innovative New Media Arts Exhibition. This exhibition will involve shooting fantastic 3D landscape and starscapes of New Zealand.
We need your help to raise a little more money to sustain us with food and fuel while we are out filming.
We have some great sponsors on board the project. Nikon have loaned us 5 amazing cameras.. The kind folks at Kea have kindly loaned us the use of one of their fantastic motor homes and LG are proving some spectacular screens for the show. All we need now is some cash to power this beauty for a few weeks on the road!
This is a costly exhibition to produce. We'll be on the road for at least 10 weeks. Then we'll be doing post production which will include collating up to 20,000 photos per artwork and recording an original soundtrack for each work in the exhibition. All this work to create something super cool that anyone can enjoy in their local gallery for Free.
At this stage the exhibition will be in Auckland and Wellington but we're currently looking at venues all around the country.
We’ve set a target of $4000 dollars but any contributions over this will be put towards the cost of recording original music soundtracks and quality 3D post-production.
Check out www.joemichael.net/blog or www.facebook.com/darkcloudwhitelight for our latest antics and information on when and where the exhibition will be taking place.
Thanks in advance for your contribution!

I just want to say a massive thanks for the support.
The response has been really incredible!

If you are a VIP pledger I’ll also be in contact with show dates for next year.
It’s a massive project to undertake and once we finish the filming in November Post-production begins.

Hi Everyone,
I’m just over the 50% mark with 11 days to go!
Pledgeme has been has been really challenging but thanks to your support I’m closer to reaching my goal!
I’ve been constructing a few gadgets to help with the filming of the project this week. A friend has helped me build a Wireless camera control, which means I can control the rig up to 3km away. I can also monitor cameras and get sent an error message if anything is going wrong with the rig. I’m also set up with Aurora monitors and email updates on space weather conditions to try and capture this for the exhibition.
So thanks again and please help with spreading the word!
I’ll only be successful if my funding goal is 100% funded by the due date.
Cheers,
Joe

Thanks! I've just hit 25% of my funding goal thanks to your support! This means I'm closer to getting out on the road. I've had a couple of days to test run the cameras and the camper this week which was great but she is a thirsty beast.
You can help me by sending the link to your friends and family. I've got 20 days to hit my goal and to be successful I need to be 100% funded, It"s all or nothing!
Right now I'm trawling through photographs from the test week but I'll be uploading them to my facebook page and the blog shortly.
Cheers,
Joe
