Scary Stories Album

No matter what we offer children from the story smorgas board - they always want the 'scary stories'. So finally musician Craig Denham and myself have created a 'Scary Stories' album. This is our lucky 7th album of stories and music and was recorded in the suitabley Gothic city of Prague last year.Our collections to date have roamed the world, been featured on national radio and are part of the audio suite for children's inflight entertainment with our national carrier Air New Zealand.
The album is being launched 6 - 8 March 2015 and we are putting out a call for support to finance the production of the album. The $5000 we would like to raise would cover the costs of studio production, artwork, graphics and design and a small run of physical CDs - i know we're kind of old fashioned! The album will also be available to download.
It's a great album of both traditional and contemporary spooky tales and includes : Hansel and Gretel, Wiley and the Hairy Man and an all time favourite 'Puchika Churika'. Criag Denham has done a fabulous job creating spine tingling musical scores that create the audible colour for our story witches, bogey men, haunted dolls, ghouls and ghosts.
I figure is we can pre - sell 200 copies of the album, we 're home and happy.

We're almost there

We've just over 48 hours until our campaign closes and only $160 left to raise...that's like 6.5 albums! A big thank you to everyone who has supported us. On the off chance that we raise more that our target, we'll put it towards our next album - we're open to suggestions what it could be its theme! We thought we'd treat you to a snippet of a tale...where the witch of the famous gingerbread cottage considers some world cuisine and vegan options before settling on.....little boy! If you have intended to purchase an album and haven't quite got around to it...now is the time.

It's our last five days of our Scary Stories Campaign and we've got $1800 to raise.
