2015 Wellington Raw Comedy Quest

The Wellington Raw Comedy Quest is Wellington's premier open mic stand up comedy competition. The top two performers compete in the National Raw Comedy final held in Auckland. Wellingtonian James Malcolm won the National final last year, becoming the competition's youngest ever winner. Let's see if Wellington can do it again!

2015 is first time we are running 5 heats. Our aim is for 50 participants, with at least 20 newcomers. We would love to tell as many people as we can about this opportunity, and to have some nice full rooms for our performers to entertain. For as little at $5 you can help us get the word out on the street, in print, and on the airwaves. 

The competition has helped launch the careers of Cori Gonzalez-Macuer, Sarah Harpur, James Nokise and been the first stepping stone for many others to get into comedy. 

We've got some neat rewards lined up, including the first tickets available for VK's, Wellington's brand new comedy club, a big thanks to Vaughan King for this special offer.
