"Bella" is my beautiful grey horse that came to us not long off the racetrack as a 4 year old. She was malnourished and had sores over her body. With lots of TLC her talent truly shone and she became my lovely jumping horse with the show name "Kakaho Southern Belle". When she turned 6, she started having problems in the float when trying to transport and would completely flip out even before we left home sometimes, going crazy until she hurt herself.
After trying the best trainers and retraining her to float 3 times and eventually having the same problem, we (in consultation with vets) have realised she brings herself into season through having potentially diseased ovaries. After spending a fortune on trying drugs like regumate and an overseas vaccine to help with no success, her only option left is to have her ovaries removed. This operation will cost $2,500 that we just dont have. Our only other option is sadly to have her put down.
Bella is a very sweet girl and we love her to bits. She has the talent to live a full and competitive life. Please help us to help her...
