My name is Samantha O"Reilly I am a young fashion design student. I am in my third and final year in my Bachelor of Fashion Design at Otago Polytechnic. I want to create a collection that celebrates New Zealand Fashion. That is inspired by art, music, film, books, colour, texture and anything in life that is exciting.

As students we communicate design ethos, creativity and abilities through our garments. I have been working long and hard hours leading up to my final collection, experimenting and evolving fashion and making something that I"m extremely proud of thats original and exciting.

Help fund my final collection:

My final collection will showcase a designer as an innovator of fashion, that celebrates all inspirations; art, music, culture, film through originally produced garments and photography.

My designs are aspirational and inspirational, yet always functional and relevant. I want to reflect the life of a sophisticated New Zealand women incorporating elements of luxury and the street to create a unique and eclectic character. Fashion in New Zealand is so important, it reflects who we are and what we stand for.

My mission is to create an outstanding collection that celebrates New Zealand fashion and by making my goal a reality, ensure the future growth and development of the industry.  The money from PledgeMe will help cover the costs of all my fabrics, digital printing and collaboration with a fine arts student, photography, hand made accessories and jewelry. The whole lot!
