Hi everyone, my name is Bethany Dawes I'm 10 years old and proud to be vegetarian. A few years ago I made a decision to stop eating meat because I couldn't sit back and watch the cruelty towards animals that ended up on our plates.  Because of my decision I suffered through bullying at school, other kids couldn't and still can't understand why I would want to stop eating animals and would tease and make fun of me. I stuck it out because it's a cause I believe in.  At the time I was the only one at school, but since then a few other friends have also made the change.

As a 10 year old I want to share with the world how proud I am to be vegetarian and that other kids can be too without being ashamed.  I'm going to open an online clothing store that sells items that tell everyone just that.  Crueltyfreekids.com will have tshirts and other items which announce loud and proud that "I'm a kid and cruelty free".  I would like the website to become more over time, to be a resource kids can turn to for information and support but for now the goal is awareness of animal cruelty and I will be using profits to support animal welfare charities like Safe.

I need to raise $1500 towards costs such as clothing and website design, product samples, photography and advertising.
