Helping Makeup Students Get To Body Art Rocks Convention

Who are we?

We are aspiring Makeup Artists studying at the Design & Arts College.    We have developed skills in Beauty to Special FX to Character and Decade Makeup.  We are passionate to further our skills by going to Body Art Rocks Convention in Wellington (http://bodyfx.co.nz/convention/) which will feature demo’s and workshops by world renowned Makeup Artists, Body painters and Special FX Artists (including Nick Wolfe, Gino Acevedo and Yolanda Bartram).

There are a dozen of us who need to travel from Christchurch to Wellington.  We need accommodation, Conference entry fee and flights. The $2,000 we are asking for will cover about half of the costs for about 8 students, it would be amazing if we could make more than that to fund more students. Can you help us?

In return for your help we are offering a selection of rewards including hand made jewellery by Koa Minifie, and by Miss Ruby Snow. 

We will also offer professional makeovers and photo shoots tailored to your requirements (T&C apply) in our riverside studio. 

D&A Makeup Artists are some of the most respected in New Zealand with the widest range of skills.  Let us work our magic on you.
