Finding Your Way Home

'Finding Your Way Home' is my third and latest record to be released October 2014 followed by a North Island Album Release Tour. This project is specifically to fund the post production costs of recording this album. There are 14 tracks on this album, including two cowritten songs - one with Mike Chunn (Split Enz) and one with Mike Riddell (Writer/Producer). It is the third album to be produced and recorded by Andrew Buckton (Studio 203) and with Micheal Franklin-Browne (drums) and John Blackburn (bass) bringing a new dynamic to this record I'm excited to be able to soon share our best work to date.
I am grateful for the opportunity to write and share music and that process is only made possible with the support and backing I receive from individual people. My records are 100% independent of any support from the NZ music or art funding bodies. So if you are able to support this album with a pledge, I thank you for that.
The money raised will go towards the following costs:
- Mixing/mastering studio time
- Graphic Design
- Pressing/printing costs
Once tracks have been mixed and mastered, one track 'Blue Sky Day', will be released as a free download. If you have a blue sky day photo or something that represents a blue sky day for you, and you would like it included in the utube video, please email it to [email protected]. kia ora everyone! if you pledged for an album reward then you should receive it today or tomorrow. There were a couple pledges that were waiting to be processed/cleared. Once that's happened I'll get those albums in the post too. I hope you enjoy it! :-) xx Sam RB

To the 76 'Finding Your Way Home' pledgers,
Thank you. You are amazing and I am so very grateful. I have ~$5,000 of post-production costs left, and while I had initially considered setting the PledgeMe target at $4000, I decided not to, as it felt like it was asking too much of people. So I made the target $3000, and you guys went hard out and got it to just under $4000. That is truly awesome. Thank you so much.
The album is being pressed this week, so if you pledged for one of the album rewards you can expect to see it from next week. You will be one of a select group of people receiving this album early, well before the official release date. I'm stoked to be able to do that, and I wanted you to all know that you made it possible with your generous pledges. It's my small thank you to ya'll. Blue Sky Day

Kia ora! I have released 'Blue Sky Day', track one from 'Finding Your Way Home' early to say thank you to y'all for all the wonderful support. I asked people on FB to send in their blue sky day pics for the video, so check it out.
The production master and artwork are now with Stebbings and if you pledged/chose a CD reward you will receive it very soon (yay!) and well before the official release date (October 25th). If you love the album as much as i do please let people know on FB so they can get their own copy from October 25th :)
