Moko Club is for under 5 year olds in Huntly West and Ngaruawahia.  Kids grow food, play in nature, cook and get good skills for school.  These are low-socio economic areas and a lack of transport is a barrier for many families to participate in Moko Club.  We want to provide a van to pick up and drop off kids for Moko Club and to take them on excursions to fun places.  We have 1/3rd of the costs and need to raise another 2/3rds.  We also help kids and their families out with school uniforms, shoes, bags and other stuff they need for starting school.  Many families struggle to meet these costs.  Please join us in getting these kids off to a good start at school.  Starting on the right foot can make a big difference to the rest of their lives.

Moko Club kids go on excursions to the Zoo, Library, Swimming Pools, Beach, Lifestyle Blocks, King's Coronation Celebrations, Fieldays and various other events.  For many kids and their parents these are rare occasions.  A van will allow us to expose the families to more of these types of events and expand their understanding of life.
