X-Section Journal Issue 4

X-Section is a student run creative collaborative who produce an academic journal containing contemporary work + articles from fellow students, alumni, faculty members and young creative industry leaders in the field of Landscape Architecture.
This year we are run by the exciting team of Claire, Rachel, Tim, Rob and Russell with ongoing mentorship from Pete and John.

Our aim is to examine a current local or global issue, through research, opinion articles, case studies, photo essays, collages (or what ever it takes).... By encouraging rigorous discussion between students + professionals + academics about landscape architectural issues, we hope to provide a new voice for the profession.
X-Section Journal is an outlet for the integration and progression of all areas of landscape architecture, and we consider our publication to be a very beautiful product.

In the past three years our printing has been funded by the Department of Landscape Architecture at Unitec. This year, following Issue 3, (our best issue so far!) we have had funding slashed!
The X-Section team has assigned ourselves the task of raising the printing funds from outside sources.
