Who is Ms Lyricist?

Kia Ora and hello ! 

"Ms Lyricist is 23 year young, musician, singer, songwriter, music lover & creator and full-time music student at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic. Put simply, a music fanatic!"

But first and foremost I am a mother to a beautiful 1 year old boy who i must thank for installing in me, the most powerfull drive and motivation to meet up with and hangout with music again.  

I've always known deep down way past my vocal chords, that music was always going to be the name of the highway that i travel in life.  Yes I strayed down dark alley ways along the way! But here I am back on track, experienced in the ups and downs of life as I know it to be, up until today, and lyrically full!

What does she do? 

"Ms Lyricist passionately creates and forms lyrics in such a way that it colours and really illustrates the general way people may see things, situations and realities 'normally'."

Full, soulfull, organic, genuine music.  Almost sounds edible! This is what i love to create. It is such an amazing gift to be able to express feelings and thoughts to society in this way.  Music allows me happiness, peace, clarity, satisfaction and zest for life! It is truely an amazing feeling and I want to share it! With you, our country and the world! My dream is to be first and foremost an established New Zealand Artist with regognition in the awesome NZ music scene, and ultimately another International artist from little ol' Aotearoa making big dreams come true.

What does she need?

I am looking for pledges to fund a small home recording set up and a semi acoustic gutitar and amp to get out there and gig!

I will self produce all my own music from home, and upload to online sites like soundcloud which has a massive musical movement allowing international following and regognition. Ultimately this will enable me to be regognised and hopefully picked up by a record label that would drive me to places, big places!
