Dance Is A Never Ending Story. Will You Help Me Write Chapter One?

In May my dance partner, Julie and I are travelling to Darwin, Australia, to compete in in the 3rd Asia Pasific Outgames Latin/Ballroom dance competition.
I began dance only a year ago with Julie, and within this short amont of time we have already managed to travel to Sydney in 2013 to compete in their Same-Sex dance competition, returning home a few medals and smiles heavier! I can truely say that taking up dance has proven to be one of the best decisions I have ever made.
By donating you are personally helping me to fulfill my passion by competing and representing New Zealand as a dancer and as a member of the LGBT community. As all of you will know, travel and accomodation alone aren't cheap, and alongside entry fees this competition has become a sure project. My love and flair for dance, with your support will see me through this incredible opportunity to represent New Zealand on an international level as well as developing this passion into a career.
This competition isn't just about me and my love of dance though. In my eyes it is a stepping stone in building the LGBT community by expanding Same-Sex dance in a fun and encouraging environment. We really hope to provide all members of society with a desire to dance and to help share this passion with us and the rest of the community.
