A city symphony film shot which traces the movement from individuality to community. Sequences include, approaching Auckland by sea, the Central Business District and its street performers and Aucklanders coming together around  the annual Santa Parade. The film includes some great street performances.

OUTSIDER TRADING is directed, shot and edited by Martin Rumsby as an example of single-person filmmaking. (A form that Rumsby has been working in since the 1980s).
