Airmail

Project 2012-04-23 02:03:22 +1200

THE STORY:

Airmail is a short film about Gary, an eccentric postal worker who compulsively doodles, collects roadside junk, and delivers mysterious envelopes to the beautiful Suzy. When Gary's colleagues' curiosities are piqued by his unusual antics, what they discover is above and beyond what they ever imagined.

For your $50 pledge, a hand-crafted envelope like this will be yours with a special message from Gary the Postie inside.

WHAT WE WILL DO WITH THE DOUGH:

Airmail has already been shot on the top notch Red One camera. We are very excited about how it looks. Our production was funded by the NZ Film Commission as part of the Fresh Shorts funding scheme.

We now need a post production fund to pay for visual effects, sound design, sound mix and a colour grade. We are ambitious for the film; we plan to enter it into quality local and international festivals. But we can't finish it without your help!

THE CREW:

The Airmail team are: Writer/Director Prue Cunningham, Producer Kirsty Cooper, DoP Chris Pryor, Production Designer Haley Williams, Editor Tom Eagles, and Composer Chris O'Connor.

THE CAST:

Wesley Dowdell plays Gary:

Fasitua Amosa plays Tavita:

and Katie Burson plays Suzie:

Hello Pledgers and Supporters of Airmail,

Thank you all for supporting our post production fund and encouraging your friends to do so too!

We've only got one week to make the target - so PLEASE post the link on your facebook page and email, text, or call any person you think might like to support our project.

I have discounted some of the rewards and added a special new one (Special 5 Star Delivery). I am open to suggestions re: other enticing rewards!

Let's keep that ball rolling and make this thing happen!

Best,
Prue
