About

Ecomoon Collective

Project 2013-10-11 03:54:57 +1300

Ecomoon Collective is a new concept for Nelson.  Based on the success of Ecomoon Boutique in Stoke, we have been given the amazing opportunity to grow the business and to move into central Nelson to an almost purpose built building, thanks to an amazing new landlord.

In this space we will not only offer our quality, affordable, concise range of eco-friendly products for baby, child and family - but will be offering a retail platform for other local crafters to support local talent!

Additionally we have been able to have a "classroom" built onto the back of the premise, where we hope to offer this space to families in Nelson, as a central drop in zone, a place to hold coffee groups, and childbirth education classes - plus many more opportunities for Kindermusik, baby yoga etc.

With Keela having major surgery due to cancer on 30th September, her recovery is slow but sure. As we make a lot of our products ourselves, this has meant a major slow down in stock production (income). Therefore to really open this new venture up with a bang and really offer the space as a community area we need your help!

We are hoping to raise at least $2000 to furnish the shop in a family friendly way, to provide the ammenitites required and to really make this a place families want to stop and visit, as currently there are very few places where you can relax with a baby/toddler, have a cuppa free of charge, and a sit down.

Getting there!

Hi everyone!

Thank you to everyone who has pledged so far - obviously you believe in our vision so we would love if you could send this on to your friends and family. You could even pledge the reward of VIP evening invitation and gift it too a local friend or family member?!

Just so you know we are on track. I have just spent a week in Wellington with Aoraki Polytechnic doing a practical course placement as part of my Diploma in Childbirth Education. I now have my wings to fly and begin teaching our Empower Birth Classes. Part of the pledgeme project is to set up this area.

Thank you again from us both!

Prue and Keela

Thank you!
