Anamorphic Shadows

We are Anamorphic Shadows, a team of Architecture students from Unitec. This year we have the privilege of being able to create something for FESTA’s event Canterbury Tales 2013. FESTA (Festival of Transitional Architecture) hosted an event in October 2012 called LuxCity, which was a huge success with over 20,000 people visiting the exhibitions. The event took place a little over a year after the February 2011 earthquake, and was an opportunity to bring life to the damaged city.
This year, a similar event, known, as “Canterbury Tales” will take place over two nights involving students from Tertiaries such as Unitec, CPIT, Lincoln University as well as Sydney University.
We are hoping to raise money to help fund our project so that we can be a part of this spectacular event and do our part to help restore the cities busy atmosphere. We plan to build a massive structure measuring approximately 10m by 10m which will be supported by a crane and have a bar incorporated into it. We need all the help we can get, so please donate generously!
