Hi everyone, My name is Hannah, and i started up Red Riding Hood Yarns nearly 3 years ago after discovering my passion and talent for creating beautiful hand dyed yarn. 

The following and demand for my yarns has grown faster than i can keep up.


I would like to expand my one woman home business by raising money for equipment. I need to purchase some electric skein winders to cut out all the manual labour that is holding my  business back and allow me to focus on what is really important, the creative side of coming up with new colourways and ideas. 


By bringing these machines on board i will be able to double my production and go a long way towards satisfying the huge demand for my yarn. I work almost entirely alone but with this help I may be able to expand and bring on another team member. I need $1500 to import the yarn winding machines as they are not made anywhere in New Zealand and the cost is impossible for me to cover personally. Here is what these bad boys look like



I will be rewarding contributors with Red Riding Hood Yarns swag, naming rights of colourways and opportunity to purchase exclusive products made possible by the new machines.


In just twelve hours i have hit my Pledge Me target!!!!!!!!!! 


I will now be able to purchase high quality drying racks and pots to support the expanding quantity's of yarn i will be working with.


Never in my wildest dreams did i expect so much generosity so fast!! You have blown me away with your kindness and support and messages 
The campaign is still running and i have decided that with the extra money raised the exclusive colourways that will be dyed for pledgers will be dyed on Luxury Bases. Yes for the first time ever, you will be able to get your hands on Sparkle RRHY!!! MCN RRHY!!! LUXE Merino RRHY!
Because of you generosity and the constant request for these bases i have decided to waver on my NZ Only stance just this once .
So if you want to get your hands on these beauties for the first time ever then make sure you go and pledge  I cant do it without you   <3
