I'm a lifestyle photographer in wellington and I need help to fund my first major project.

   Many people have been affected by the bad sides of alcohol, including myself. After hearing about many peoples different experiences with alcohol it made me realise that anyone can be caught out with this silent disease, that is known as alcoholism. You don't have to be a 'homeless bum'.  You can hold down a job and have a family but still have a major drinking problem. With this project I want to smash the stereotypical embodiment 'an alcoholic'. 

   Through creating this exhibition, which will be displayed in Wellington and also online,  I will capture the stories of those who have accepted that they are affected by alcoholism. These stories are sure to embody pain, persistence, heartbreak and success and they will make people think about their drinking and the affect it is having on the people around them. If I could change one families life I would consider this to be a huge success.

   I plan to print big for maximum impact and your funding is going to help me achieve this as well as going towards the printing, mounting and marketing. I want this to be seen by as many people as possible.
