OUR MISSION STATEMENT - ‘Up-cycling, outdated denim, to create functional and stylish sleeves for everyday devices’
At 'Beenjeans', we create sleeves to protect your iPad and all sized Apple laptops. We make these sleeves from up-cycled denim, hand sourced from opportunity shops and second hand stores, many of which, have 100% profits going towards good causes. These sleeves are hand crafted in New Zealand by skilled laborers to ensure quality every time. Every one of our sleeves will be unique given that every single pair of jeans is different, of course!
We are a group of five students, currently studying in the Auckland Central Area, and our idea has hit some important people! This has helped us get in to the New Zealand Gift fair, with the New Zealand Art and Design Collective! We are all really passionate about making a product that is unique, keeps in mind ethics, helps out our local businesses all at the same time being an absolutely awesome product! Once again, these sleeves are all hand made, right here in New Zealand! Any help you can offer would be much appreciated, so we can get large scale productions underway, as well as creating and designing new products, all made with the same materials!
