FANNZ is a non profit organisation helping to create awareness throughout NZ about the potential risks of water fluoridation, especially the harm it can have on young children. Our goal is to help the public take charge of their own health and that of their families while making an informed and educated decision based on science, research and real life stories.
Hamilton City Council recently held a tribunal process that voted 7 to 1 to remove Fluoride from Hamilton's water supply after 4 days of evidence with speakers from both sides. However, one councillor who is also a DHB member (and was excluded from the tribunal because of a conflict of interest) has pushed for a referendum which will be going ahead in 9 weeks.. This process is heavily reliant on funding as it now becomes a public voting poll. To match the advertising of the DHB, we need YOUR help! To get NZ fluoride free we have to make sure we keep Hamilton fluoride free after our recent success! Every dollar counts n :-)
