Based in both Nadi and Suva, I will be spending a minimum of a month in Fiji helping kids in a local school (aged 4-12) with basic english skills, arts, crafts and sports. These schools have next to nothing and to say they are short on teaching material is an understatement.
I will be working alongside other ProjectsAbroad volunteers to help pave a positive future for these charismatic, willing children who have been brought up with the absolute minimum essentials for living.
This is a volunteer project so as you can imagine, living week to week with no income is going to be a bit of a challenge, let alone funding my own extra teaching materials (pens, maps, stickers e.t.c) . Any extra funds that can be provided would be 120% appreciated and guaranteed to go towards a more than great cause.
