This post-apocalyptic fairy tale is waiting to be staged in Christchurch.
Unforgotten is an original play written by Ukrainian native and Christchurch resident Nataliya Oryshchuk. Initially inspired by Tohby Riddle’s poem about a tired angel, it evolved into a story based on Nataliya’s childhood memories and impressions of Chernobyl’s nuclear disaster. It is a tale of survival and hope in a surreal post-apocalyptic world.
The Christchurch team NO Productions (Nataliya Oryshchuk, Damien McGrath and Charlotte Crone, creators of the show My Beautiful Disaster) gets together to work on this new experimental theatre project. This time they join forces with two Christchurch actors: Aaron Richardson and Andrew Bell. Unforgotten is scheduled to premiere on 12-14 September 2013 at Elmwood Auditorium in Christchurch. It needs only one addition to its team - your support!
What your pledge will go towards:
- Set
- Props
- Costumes
- Marketing
- Rehearsal space hire
- Performance space hire
If you pledge for this project, you can get guaranteed best seat(s) to see the show! Just select your prefered reward.
Our goal - $300 - is surely not going to cover all these expenses, but it will definitely help us to ensure the staging of the production. Can you help us to create the unique world of Unforgotten and share it with the Christchurch audience? Let’s make it happen!
