Compete In MR GAY WORLD

 You may remember me from New Zealand's Got Talent last year when I danced as the Black Swan, but what you may not know is that I also won Mr Gay NZ earlier this year and have since qualified to enter Mr Gay World held in Antwerp, Belgium at the end of July. After winning Mr Gay NZ in February  I was assured that my attendance to the competition was almost guaranteed, however I was going to need to fund-raise my way there. I applied to several companies and organizations but the financial climate being as it is meant that my initial sponsors fell through due to bad timing and bad luck and now I am in dire need of funds to attend. 

 The Mr. Gay World Competition is a Twenty First Century public performance where the delegates represent their country as the best spokesperson and embodiment of the spirit of their nation. The competition takes place over an intense four days and includes various challenges including a photo challenge, sports challenge, fashion show/run way challenge, swim suit challenge, public speaking and a local outreach challenge where MGW is able to work with a local charity to give back to the community in hosting the competition. Furthermore, the winner of Mr Gay World last year was Aoteroa's very own Andy Derleth, and so the possibility of creating a trend is now in our reach. 

 What I need is the funds to pay for my travel and incidental expenses. The best Airfare and travelling Prices from NZ to Antwerp range from $3,000 to $5,000 depending on sales and specials. Furthermore, Insurance will cost another $85. 

So what I am needing to raise is $3,500 minimum. Please back your own and help me achieve my goal to compete and represent NZ on the International stage.
