I’m Rochelle Elliot, known on the interwebs as WellyChelle.
I have a diploma in Creative Writing from Whitireia, and have had success with a number of short stories, including winning the 2012 Cambridge Autumn Short Story competition, being published in Her Business magazine, and having a story accepted by Radio New Zealand.
I would love you to read some of my work here at Wattpad.
I’m getting ready to self-publish my first novel, Lighthouse Love, and I’m looking for two things.
Firstly, I want to get the word out there that Lighthouse Love is on it’s way!
Secondly, I am hoping to raise funds to help cover some of the costs of self-publishing.
Ebook conversion, publishing and distribution will cost around $200.00, getting my manuscript professionally edited up to $800.00 and an Ebook Cover design around $600.00.
If you can spare a little to help me on my way to publication, I would be very, very grateful, and will kiss and hug you, and do a happy dance in your honour - but that's not all.
Check out the great rewards on offer;
you can get yourself a WellyChelle shout-out on Facebook and Twitter, a copy of one of my short stories, and check this out -
On Saturday 6th July 2013, there will be a Pop-up Lamington Lounge where you can come and eat delicious lamingtons and meet like minded WellyChelle groupies!
There will be a fabulous raffle, where the winner will take home a free copy of Lighthouse Love (when it is published,) a hat and scarf knitted by Welly-Mammy-Milne (that's my mum!), a beautiful tea cup and a selection of my favourite biscuits!
One lucky person even gets to name a character in Lighthouse Love, but you'll need to get in quick!
Thank you so much for your time and support,
Love WellyChelle xxx
