Hit The Floor 2013

Hit The Floor is a fun and public installation due to be set in the heart of Auckland City, Aotea Square. Our group hails from AUT University, second year studying Bachelor of Creative Technologies.
The concept is simple, yet extremely entertaining; we aim to bring a musical installation to a public space in order to take up unused space and give you something to do whilst walking through the city.
It's almost winter and let's face it...there is less and less entertainment as the season continues.
The design is similar to that of Dance Dance Revolution, however, we have added a twist.
There will be 6 large square buttons, each with it's own unique sound, which is triggered when stepped (or danced around) on.
Imagine creating your own musical collaboration with friends or strangers right in the heart of Auckland City!!
