Christchurch pop/rock band, Ashei, are gearing up to release their next single! Only problem is - we don't have enough moolah to put together an awesome music video! A music video is an important tool in releasing a single, to provide a visual aid for the music, and to help establish ourselves as a band worth looking out for in New Zealand!

The video above is the last single we released in October 2011, called Let Me Down. We also produced this video all on our own with the help of Villain Time Films. We had great success with this small-budget video: It was "Video of the Week" on C4/FOUR the week it was released, and had it's very on "Decent Exposure" tv short which featured small interviews with us before the video played! This was all done on the same small budget we have this time around.... except this time around we don't have that money in the band bank! 

Our new single, Beautiful Surrender, is a song with catchy pop sensibilities, inspiring a feeling of happiness and love. But when paid closer attention, you will find the lyrics contrast the feel of the song. We need to make a music video which illustrates this theme! Sadness masked with happiness. We wish we could sample the song for pledgers on here, but it needs to be kept strictly away from public ears until it's release! But we promise you, it's good!
